How quickly do I need to pay the costs of filing for bankruptcy?
All the "costs" (court filing fee, credit report fee, and credit counseling and debtor education course fees) must be paid before you case can be filed. A portion of attorney fees must be paid before filing as well, but the balance can be paid over time.
